Personal data protection
This English translation is provided for convenience. The French privacy notice remains the controlling legal version. This page concerns the public NELSE website, not customer deployments, which are covered by separate contractual and security documentation.

Data controller
NELSE SAS, 73 rue de Lessard, 76100 Rouen, France — contact@nelse.net.
Data processed on this website
- Contact form — name, professional email address, organisation, industry, need, role, selected solution and free-text message.
- Technical data required to deliver the service — request information and technical logs that may be processed by the hosting provider for security, availability and diagnostics.
- Local preferences — light/dark theme and your analytics preference are stored locally in your browser.
- Audience measurement, if authorised — pages and categorical commercial-journey events such as industry, role, product, demonstration, CTA and form stage. Our instrumentation does not send your name, email, organisation, free-text message, dossier content or proof package.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to a request for a demonstration, integration or service: pre-contractual measures taken at your request where the enquiry concerns a project that may lead to a contract.
- Responding to general, partnership or institutional enquiries and protecting the form against abuse: NELSE's legitimate interest in managing professional relationships and service security.
- Operating, securing and diagnosing the website: legitimate interest in the availability, integrity and security of the public online service.
- Measuring website use and improving commercial journeys: only when you have authorised measurement through the banner or Cookies page. You may change that choice at any time.
What the website does not do
The public site does not use behavioural advertising, retargeting, marketing profiling or cross-site tracking. Audience measurement is loaded only after your explicit choice. Results from the proof verifier are not sent to NELSE: the file remains in your browser.
Recipients and service providers
Requests are accessible to authorised NELSE personnel who need to process them. The site relies in particular on Vercel for hosting, frontend execution and, when authorised, audience measurement; on Resend for delivery of contact-form messages; and on NELSE professional email for receipt.
Providers act under their contracts and data-protection documentation. Resend states that its primary processing operations take place in the United States and provides, among other safeguards, the European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant transfers. Vercel also provides a data-processing addendum covering mechanisms applicable to international transfers.
Video meeting bookings
The scheduling link opens Microsoft Bookings outside the NELSE website. If you choose a slot, Microsoft processes booking and Microsoft Teams invitation details in the context of NELSE's professional service. You do not need to submit the contact form first. Please review the privacy information provided by Microsoft when booking.
Retention periods
- Prospect or partner requests without a contractual relationship: up to three years after the last useful contact, unless earlier erasure is requested or a contrary retention obligation applies.
- Communications related to a contractual relationship: during the relationship and thereafter for periods required for evidence management and applicable legal obligations.
- Technical logs: for the periods strictly necessary for security, operation and the settings of the relevant providers.
- Audience-measurement data: according to the retention period configured in Vercel Web Analytics and only for visits during which measurement was authorised.
Automated decision-making
No decision producing legal effects or similarly significantly affecting a website visitor is taken solely on the basis of automated processing.
Your rights
Depending on your circumstances, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, or object to certain processing. Contact contact@nelse.net. Proof of identity may be requested only where necessary to avoid disclosing data to an unauthorised person.
